Hi! It has been too long since I last posted on this blog! Well, I had been extremely busy with school, and yesterday was the last day after my final tests. I am actually free now (until the report card day) and I am back (again) :D

To open things up, I want to share you Kelly Clarkson's new song! I don't know whether it's going to be her first single or not, but it seems pretty serious. Thanks to Clevver Music, we can enjoy an 11 seconds preview of the song entitled Let Me Down. Honestly, I am very excited for this. Can't wait to hear the whole thing.

Hi guys! You all know that I'm very excited about her new album right? Especially when she announced that the first single is going to be a duet. But unfortunately, this girl is an expert of hiding her secrets. Still no news about who the hell is the so-called Mystery Duet Partner. A lot have speculated, either Demi Lovato, Carrie Underwood or ever Daughtry, and yet... still no official news :(

There are tons of rumors going around Twitter and the internet that the single and album come out in October and January 2011 respectively. Well, you can say it's a slow pace compared to Rihanna and Lady Gaga, but I hope the results will worth the wait! There are also some track names for the album as I listed below:

Bruno Mars has just got arrested of drug possession last Sunday at Hard Rock by Las Vegas police. Sergeant John Sheahan said Peter Hernandez, with the stage name Bruno Mars was arrested about 2:40 a.m. Sheahan said Hard Rock security confronted him in a bathroom and discovered him with narcotics, even though the type of narcotics are still unknown by the police.

This "Just The Way You Are" singer has rose to huge popularity these couple of months, and I feel really bad it has to get flushed down this way.

Hi all, it's Lebaran holidays! School's out, means I have so much time to myself and my art projects now! I'm so psyched! So, check this out. You all know that's it's been almost a year since Kanye's smackdown on the MTV VMA right? Well recently he wrote down an apology to Swift.

“I’m sorry, Taylor, we’re both artists, and the media and managers are trying to get between us. She deserves the apology more than anyone. Thank you Biz Stone and Evan Williams for creating a platform where we can communicate directly,” the hip-hop weirdass tweeted.

Replying all hate messages (including Kelly Clarkson, who was extremely furious of his behavior), he continued,“If you Google asshole my face may very well pop up 2 pages into the search. … There are people who don’t dislike me … they absolutely hate me. People tweeted that they wish I was dead … No listen. They wanted me to die, people. I carry that.”

“She had nothing to do with my issues with award shows. She had no idea what hit her. She’s just a lil girl with dreams like the rest of us. Beyoncé didn’t need that. MTV didn’t need that and Taylor and her family friends and fans definitely didn’t want or need that.”

So, that's that. I think he's finally hit the bricks with his head to bring back an angry story that had actually calmed down. He also stated that he had written Swift an apology song. Full of crap, I would say, this is a possible scheme of promoting his new album, as what the "Mine" hit maker has replied to this mayhem not long ago.

A friend of the country singer told the press,“She’s fed up of hearing about it and is disgusted that he has the cheek to use her name to promote his new album! Taylor has moved on from the incident and is hoping Kanye will eventually do the same.”

Ouch, Kanye. Well, you know what they say, you harvest what you plant, and it seems that the rapper is not going to drink fresh juices at these times. If you ask, I actually found this very hillarious and I cannot wait for another 'sequel' of this chaos. :p

Well I do not expect this coming at all, you know. ELLEN's QUITTING IDOL AND GONNA BE REPLACED BY JENNIFER LOPEZ! This news has been a bomb since yesterday on twitter. Here's what she said about her quitting.

"A couple months ago, I let FOX and the "American Idol" producers know that this didn't feel like the right fit for me. I told them I wouldn't leave them in a bind and that I would hold off on doing anything until they were able to figure out where they wanted to take the panel next. It was a difficult decision to make, but my work schedule became more than I bargained for. I also realized this season that while I love discovering, supporting and nurturing young talent, it was hard for me to judge people and sometimes hurt their feelings. I loved the experience working on "Idol" and I am very grateful for the year I had. I am a huge fan of the show and will continue to be."

I'm not finished yet! Kara's out too! Some news said that she got fired from Idol. Harsh, right? Executive producer Nigel Lythgoe once said that he would like to fire the entire panel and start fresh. He might gonna have his wish come true if Jackson's next on the chopping block. With Kara gone (I don't really care about Ellen), I'm not sure that anyone would watch the show anymore. Well at least I know I won't.

I'm sorry if this hurts but I would say THANK YOU! I don't think that Black Eyed Peas has anything special in their music. All are computer's work. All the electronic buzzes, auto-tunes, crazy Fergie-pitch in Rock That Body... Crazy. Listen to Will.i.am without computer buzzing along with his voice and you'll know what I'm writing about.

This issue of breaking up started when a fight between Will.i.am and the rest of the group occured. I don't exactly know what happened, but it seemed pretty steep. Fergie also claimed that she wants to leave because she also wants to try for a baby with her husband. Personally, I would love Fergie to try solo again after a huge success a few years ago.

Hi everyone! You all know that I'm a crazy, lunatic fan of Kelly's right? I keep track of ALL her activities! Yeah that's right! I've known this for awhile and I think this is the time to break the news! First thing's first, she has been totally busy working on this new album, she didn't make any MV for All I Ever Wanted single. Second, the album is scheduled to debut on late 2010. Can't wait!

Now about the songs... Kelly has only recorded 1 now, as what she tweeted on June 23rd. She said it was a duet but she can't exactly tell us yet... But I have this feeling that it was Chris Daughtry.

Evidence one: She has sang a duet with him not a long time ago and she seemed to be having a blast with him.

Evidence two: On her article about her singing with Daughtry from her website, she wrote, quote,"I feel a duet coming on..."

Yeah! Curiosity's painfully stressing me out right now! Well, we can speculate all we want, but nothing's sure if she hasn't confirmed it yet. So I'll just keep on track and tell you guys about this incredible idol of mine. :)

Guest Stars on Glee: Season 2

Hello fellow Gleeks! It seems like the season 1 of Glee had ended in USA, huh? Well, Asia is heading towards the last 2 episodes, and there are rumors about the guest stars on the season 2. Charice is going to be there, it's no longer rumor about that. This Filipino singer had tweeted it not quite long ago. Some people say that she's going to be a transfer student and also Rachel's nemesis.Cool!

Justin Timberlake and Susan Boyle are also reported to guest star on Glee. JT might going to be Will's relative. Frankly, I can see the similarities of their faces too, you know? He'd probably be Will's younger brother. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about Susan Boyle yet. Probably lunch lady? lol.

After 2 episodes were dedicated to Madonna and Lady Gaga + Kiss, Britney Spears kind of want her to be under the spotlight too. I say, YOU WISH! lol. I'd rather watch episodes about Homer Simpson than her. :p

Lately, there are some kind of uproars of the facebook users (female majority) on this Indonesian band 'Mosquito Band''s page. They totally had chopped off these Korean boybands' heads and put on theirs to promote their music! That is so freakin' low! Facebook users have protested the band members to apologize officially to the bands BigBang and DBSK, not to forget their fans, VIP, Cassiopeia.

I have no idea about this Korean thingy, personally I'm not a fan, AT ALL, but I have got your backs! That's right, even ME, the one who switch the channel everytime a Korean sings on my TV! Mosquito Band totally sucks and they do not deserve any spotlight to shine above them! Being an artist means to project your creativity to life for people to enjoy! Not to edit someone's head off! Yesterday was Kelly's concert night at Jakarta, and it was tight! She even said that Jakarta was the loudest city so far, if I'm not mistaken. But now, I've got some more websites that give free sheet musics. I found these during my search of Imagine sheet music, I found it and I used it for my practical test at school. Hope I got great grades.. ;)

I personally use my-piano.blogspot.com the most, but it doesn't have complete lists of songs to date. I'm kind of looking for Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck Without You and I haven't found it yet. Well, I hope this small list helps. ;D

American Idol: Top 10

This week's show were surprising in so many levels. First, Andrew managed to pull a great performance. Finally, 1 out of 6 performances. Hahah. Second, Siobhan's screams got dull in Simon's ears. Third, Crystal played piano! I would never guessed it. She was incredible, as always. I disagreed with Simon, I thought the backing vocals were good addition. Then last but not least, Tim stayed! Damn, I hate him so much, did he pay the producers? I mean, he got back after the judges eliminated him, then he pulled trillions of bad performances, he has a terribly generic voice, ugly-bushy hair. Hello???

I just couldn't wait for the results, I had to peek to Wikipedia who went home. I just couldn't wait to find out later at 5. The result, was jaw-dropping. Literally. I found my jaw dropped when I discovered Didi left. She was bad, but not as bad as Tim. I'm having this strange feeling about American Idol has some kind of racism towards girl contestants. Lol.

This week's best performers were Lee Dewyze, Crystal Bowersox and Andrew Garcia. I'll update about the results later, since I haven't watched it yet.

American Idol: Top 11

It was seriously Miley as the mentor. It's unacceptable! But I kinda understand why they picked her. I think they want the contestants to have a mentor who knows what are they into, since the ages are similar. But... you know, if they really want that, why can't they pick Carrie Underwood, or Fantasia? (I'm not gonna write Kelly Clarkson 'coz I know she's on tour :p) Moving on to the contestants, as usual, some were fantastic, and some were dull. Crystal was amazing. My favorite girl's in it to win it. But, time passes by, and I'm getting bored with her dreadlocks. I would suggest her to lose it and go to the dentist. :p The lamos this week are Andrew Garcia and Paige Miles. It feels like they're permanent contenders now. I have never heard them giving their bests on the stage. I predict them in the Bottom 3, followed with Tim Urban, with Paige leaving.

Well at least my prediction about Tim in the Bottom 3 and Paige leaving was correct. This made my Top 12 predictions to be 100%. :) Miley also performed, which was... okay. I wasn't a big fan of it. I actually wanted to post Miley's performance, but I decide to put the best performance of the week, which was Crystal Bowersox. But I meant it, she needs to lose the dreadlocks.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I first read it! Miley, the newcomer of music industry, as a mentor? She's not even that good of a singer than most of the contestants. There's gotta be some mistakes! Yay, I'm so jazzed up with the competition, who's gonna leave next? I am so glad that she went home, with Paige and Tim in the Bottom 3. Today I watched a pretty interesting commercial on TV about another American Idol contest. The prize is to see the finale at U.S.A yourself! Pretty cool huh? Last few days, I was browsing the internet to read stories about a 23 years old singer-songwriter Lady Gaga and her music. When I scrolled down the Google page, I accidentally read the word 'Hermaphrodite' (having both female and male reproductive systems) on the headline, then half shocked, I opened the page.

When the page was shown, it turns out that it's discussing some kind of a rumor about Stefani Germanotta, or usually called with her stage name, Lady Gaga having a male reproductive system. "Oh my God," i thought. Then I continued reading, and I saw this note, the writer wrote that Lady Gaga wrote the following by herself on her blog. It says:

“Its not something that I’m ashamed of, just isn’t something that i go around telling everyone. Yes. I have both male and female genitalia, but i consider myself a female. Its just a little bit of a penis and really doesn’t interfere much with my life. the reason I haven’t talked about it is that its not a big deal to me. like come on. its not like we all go around talking about our vags. I think this is a great opportunity to make other multiple gendered people feel more comfortable with their bodies. I’m sexy, I’m hot. i have both a poon and a peener. big f*cking deal.”

A lil' excited, that's what i felt when I read it. I like scandals very much, especially if it's about stars. *devil mode has turned on :p* Hence, I browsed more, I was trying to find pictures. LOL. I saw lots of video that had been blocked, too bad. With a little luck I eventually found this shocking website that provides tons of picture evidences of Lady Gaga has male reproductive system. As a normal human being, I started to believe the story, but I do not take sides! Haha. But I couldn't see any on her music videos where she wears mini clothes (and sometimes not even wearing anything) Actually, I wanted so bad to attach those pictures, umm, but I don't feel comfortable of it, so I only give a link of the website.

So for the conclusion, I'm still not sure about the truth yet, and Lady Gaga fans, don't blame me for writing this up, blame the pen.... umm, never mind. O:-)

This crazy bitch is non-stop. She made me laugh the whole video, my only concern is the talking. They're too much, I was bumped that it got cut all the time while I was listening to the music.

What's so cool about Gaga's videos, is the storyline. If you notice, this actually is anepisode of her Paparazzi video. Her life in 'Prison for Bitches', her plastered boobs, the freedom with Beyonce, killing people, run away, got chased by cops, yeah, typical Gaga life. Lol.

I loved it a lot, and I've posted it and enjoy watching it. You go DUDE :p nahh I couldn't see 'it' on the video. Did she cut it off? jk

Last Year's New Albums

Last year's American Idol contestants are going to release new albums soon! Some already had, which are Kris Allen, Adam Lambert, Danny Gokey and Allison Iraheta and some are going to release their album this mid-year.

Remember the Indian singer Anoop Desai? He's gonna release an independent new album All is Fair on May 2010. Although there's still no any songs confirmed, the first single has been announced, which is called My Name.

Megan also gonna release one too, obviously, since I've been writing about her some quite times. This quirky girl has recorded some songs even though she's still unsigned, including Incomplete, Sweet Love, Feel Love, Ryder on The Storm and Boy Next Door.

Last but not least, Scott MacIntyre also announced on the American Idol Top 16 Results Show that he's gonna release one called Heartstrings.

Lil Rounds and Michael Sarver are also gonna release an album, but I don't know the details yet.

I'm gonna update this topic as soon as I can find some details. ;)

American Idol: Top 16

It started with the girls today, and it was kinda awkward with the timing. It felt.. squished. There was no interviews as I can recall, 2 girls at once. And it was kinda boring. I dunno why. The best was Crystal, big shocker. My second best was Lilly Scott.

My predictions about who are leaving is pretty simple. Who has the lowest charm, weakest abilities, most painful personalities, and the sloppiest performance. And I see all of them in Lacey Brown. I don't know why she's still standing and the judges praised her. I thought it was sleepy and boring. And the other girl I think is going to leave is Katelyn. She's just okay and can't remember what did she do on the stage. Hmm... She did not stand out for me.

Update: March 11 2010

So, it's the guys' turn. The biggest shock from tonight was actually Todrick. He was terrific. He has improved and I loved it big time. Speaking of improvement, Andrew actually did. I liked the song, I dunno why the judges hated it. Big Mike has also pulled out a beautiful performance, he made Kara into tears! Lol.

And there was Tim. Although I hate him a lot, and everytime I look at him I feel like I wanna teleport and cut that bushy hair of his. I can't stand it. I lost my point. Anyway, he was... good. Grumble.

Because Tim was good and people seem to like him so much, I think he's safe tomorrow. I think it's Aaron and Todrick's time to leave, even though Todrick pulled an incredible performance, everybody else seemed loved more.

Update: March 12 2010

The results show was opened by a performance of Michael Buble's Haven't Met You Yet. At the middle of the show, pur guest stars Scott MacIntyre and Matt Giraud broke the stage with an incredible performance of Tell Her About It. It was pretty emotional when Ryan broke the news to Alex, which left us this week. Todrick also left, which was correct based on my prediction. I was very pissed with the girls. Lilly?! C'mon, she was terrific! Why the hell did she get kicked out? I would never think of her leaving in this short amount of time. The other girl that left us was Katelyn, which also was correct, and that makes my predictions to 50% correct, just like the other 2 weeks.

Y' know, I remembered that Lilly said that she doesn't understand what America wants to hear. I personally don't either. They kicked out 2 of my favorites, Lilly and Alex, and decided to keep Tim and Lacey in the Top 12! That's SICK!

Here's Michael Lynche, he was the best this week in my opinion.

Where's Put It In a Love Song Video?

I was wandering around the internet, searching for the video yesterday. Then you know what I found? Nothing. Yea, it said that the premiere would be on the internet on March 8. At first, I gave it a rest since Indonesia and U.S.A. have approximately 12 hours of time difference. But it's still not there today. Then I decided to surf around Google and I discovered that it's delayed until 15th of March! That sucks!

To sum up, I heard that Lady Gaga's Telephone music video's also been delayed. And both has Beyonce in them. Hmm... Do you think she had something to do with all of the delaying?

American Idol: Top 20

Asia's American Idol's gonna air on Star World this 5 p.m. Jakarta! Due to some medical issues of the girls, so the guys are going to take the stage this afternoon. I'm gonna update the performances ASAP. Can't wait! ;D

Update: March 4 2010

The performances basically have improved drastically. Well, for most of of the contestants at least. It said that there was medical issues with the girls that let the switch-up, and I found that Crystal had something wrong with her diabetes. Aww poor talented girl, and yet, she was still able to excel the night, tearing all other contestants limb to limb. She's officially my favorite of all, since Andrew Garcia and Haeley Vaughn had disappoint lots of times.

Tim Urban. He's such a doofus, after such spicy comments the judges gave him last week, yet, he's still able to mess the atmosphere of the whole night. He was terrible! I don't know why the hell Simon praised him! Ugh he's the worst and I DESPISES him..! :p I want him out! And I'm sure I'm not the only one here! Hello..?!

My favorites of the two nights were Crystal Bowersox, obviously; then Lilly Scott and last but not least, Lee Dewyze. And I have to say that Crystal aced my ears two times in a row. Here's her video of the performance.

The letdowns of the week were Tim Urban, OBVIOUSLY; Hayley Vaughn, big time; Andrew Garcia, unfortunately; Katie Stevens and some others that I can't remember the names. :p

For my elimination prediction, I'm gonna stick with my missed predictions of last week, which were Tim Urban and Lacey Brown, followed by Jermaine Sellers and Haeley Vaughn. I feel really bad because Haeley was one of my audition favorites, but, I dunno, she's a major letdown on the Top 24.

Update: March 5 2010

It's kind of freaking me how accurate and inaccurate I was on the same time. On one side, I was totally correct about Jermaine and Haeley. But on the other side, I've missed my missed predictions from last week. John 'Twain' Park and Michele Delamor was leaving instead of Lacey and Titch (Tim Bi*ch). I mean, c'mon, who wouldn't suspect Tim Urban to be leaving? Grumble. If he makes it to the Top 12, I seriously believe there's intervention from FOX! He has been the worst singer that made it to the Top 24. Even worse than Sanjaya!

Let's talk about a human being this time. I'm very upset with the results. It was opened with I Gotta Feeling, which was fabulous, and a performance from Danny Gokey. It's weird that he records country, when his genre is Gospel-ish kind of thing at first, but he has explained and it's kind of coming together now. :D

The Disney Gals

You probably know about these girls already, but I decided it would be fun for me to write about them sometimes. Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana), Selena Gomez (Wizards of Waverly Place) and Demi Lovato (Sonny with a Chance/Camp Rock). They're all Disney actress-turned-singers and without question such beautiful girls. I do not doubt their singing skills, it's just they're... not good enough to be as famous singers as they are now. If I stack them up with other 17 year old singers like Allison Iraheta, for instance, well, you know who I'd pick.

Disney people are undoubtedly very smart on creating stars, they're just... entrepreneurs, which means people who are able to turn junks into golds. Even though I write such mean stuff about them, I can't say that I don't like any of their songs. For example, I like Miley's Butterfly Fly Away and Selena's Naturally.

So far, Miley has released 3 studio albums, including the EP which she has created her Billboard's super-song, Party In The U.S.A., Demi has released 2 studio albums and Selena has released 1 studio album.

Probably some of you realize I forgot to write one more Disney's actress-turned-singer, which is Raven Symone. It's just she's older, off-contract, and less popular. That's very unfortunate since she's my favorite out of these three.

All I Ever Wanted

As usual when I don't have anything to do with my spare time, I browse Wikipedia about my favorite artists (kind of a weird hobby) and I discovered the new Kelly Clarkson's All I Ever Wanted single's article there. When I read that small article of 2 short paragraphs, there was written:

"This song was first recorded by Oklahoma City-based band Aranda on their debut album."

Gahh. It's not an original Kelly song. I was bummed. I found so many 'recycled' songs here, which are I Do Not Hook Up (originally Katy Perry), Whyyawannabringmedown and All I Ever Wanted (originally Aranda) and Already Gone (half Beyonce :p). And worse, she made some her singles! She should really write more songs for her next album.

So here's the original Aranda's All I Ever Wanted, since I've posted Kelly's version before. For the record, I still think Kelly's is the best ;)

Just Like You's 2nd Single

I'm so glad she chose this song to be her single, it's like the best song of the whole album and I love it so much. In fact, she's performing it tomorrow (for Asia) on American Idol's Top 24 Result Show. So excited and I can't wait. Ke$ha's down! Yeah! Not with the artists that I wanted or expected, but, It's cool. The group that has pushed Ke$ha down from the tip of the cliff is Black Eyed Peas. This makes their 3rd #1 song from their current album. That's kinda amazing.

We Are The World 25 For Haiti fell to #6. Probably because of the weird singing of Wyclef Jean. Hahah, just kidding. Kinda disappointed about this though. The debuts this week include There Goes My Baby by Usher and Hero by Christopher Wilde.

American idol: Top 24

Both of the girls' and boys' nights were.... awful, as usual. After some thinking i kinda figured out why they stink during these times. 1, It's probably their first time in front of so many crowds. Some would say it's not exciting to see them on a very small stage like that, but actually I disagree. It's a great way to make them to adapt to super-stardom. 2, the band. Most people are used to sing A capella. Means no instrument included. On that stage, they are forced to sing along with a professional band to make them to adjust themselves before they go to the bigger stage.

And let's go to the girls. Most were bad, obviously. A lot of notes were loose, quavering tones. Especially from one of my favorite, Haeley Vaughn. I hate to admit this but she stunk her ass off. She couldn't reach the high note, everything was broken to pieces. She reminded me to Taylor Swift's Grammy performance. Yea.

Then there was Crystal Bowersox. She's starting to push down Haeley from my favorite list. Lilly Scott was also amazing, as always. She reminded me to Megan, and she even has a better voice than Megan, despite of being less gorgeous than her. Now that's a fact. Speaking of gorgeous faces, Siobhan Magnus' face kinda looks like Demi Lovato. Ain't I right? Especially when they open their mouths wide open.

The guys. Equally bad as the girls. I hated Tim Urban so much. Man, I don't even know how he managed to get pass Hollywood week? Sheesh. Aaron Kelly did a pretty good job, even though I'm kinda dislike his weak, laid back look of him.

Kara and Casey were hilarious. I mean, like the way Kara was 'undressing' him with her eyes, lol. I though Andrew Garcia did a good job, even though he had some notes flying around free. That's probably because I don't know the original song. :p

My prediction for the girls that's not gonna get through are Ashley Rodriguez and Lacey Brown, and the guys with Tim Urban and Tyler Grady at the end of my list.

Update: February 26 2010

The result show left me with mixed feelings. First, I was freakin' excited after Allison's incredible performance of Scars, which made me crazy. And on the other hand, the leaving contestants were upsetting. Only 50% of my speculations were true! I mean, Tim Urban?! Who the hell wanted to vote for him, based on the performance anyway? Stupid falsettos, Ugly arrangement, man! Why did the judges brought him back??? Ugh, this is so depressing. The worst performer of the day beat one of the best performer of the day, Joe Munoz. The other person left was Tyler Grady, which I was true about.

The girls' results were less painful. My guess about Ashley Rodriguez was true, and Janell Wheeler shocked me a little. As I can remember, she was pretty good on the Hollywood rounds.

All I Ever Wanted's 4th Single

I browse Wikipedia without any intentions sometimes, and I often look at my idol's articles. Today, I browsed through Kelly Clarkson's article and found out that her 4th single of her 4th album All I Ever Wanted is going to be released on 9th March to the radios. I'm very excited to this! From some blogs I read, Don't Let Me Stop You was expected to be her 4th single, but the album title track All I Ever Wanted comes out to be the one. I insanely love this song since it's posted on Youtube and I've downloaded the song since ages ago. I believe this is going to be another hit of her singing career. This is the song that I was talking about yesterday. It debuted strong at number 2, and I believe it's gonna pressure Ke$ha down from the top. lol. It's a charity song for Haiti that is sang by tons of artists. Actually this is the song with the most artists I have ever heard. Here's the music video of the song. Enjoy. ;D

When i was hearing it for the first time yesterday, i was shocked by the weird voices at the middle of the song, and there are lots of those weird voices. When I seached for the lyrics, then I found that the source of those weird voices is Wyclef Jean, jeez, that Haitian-American dude really ruined the song, and just because he came from Haiti, he got the most part to sing, Even more that Michael Jackson. lol.

In addition, I noticed the word Indonesia on Will.i.am's lyrics on the endings of the song:

'Like Katrina, Africa, Indonesia
and now Haiti needs us, the need us, they need us'

I recalled the Tsunami tragedy at the province of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam at 24th December 2004. Lucky me to live in Jakarta. I wonder why they didn't make songs for us? Hmm...

Ke$ha's still on the top! Well, no shocker it is. All the potential singers to beat her off are cramping down the charts this week. Starting with Bad Romance that slided 3 notches, followed by Baby that dropped to the 25th spot and Today Was A Fairytale that dropped to the 39th spot. Imma Be's on the number 2, but I don't want to give hope to it. For you who reads my blog would know why.

Lady Antebellum's Need You Now is on the 3rd spot. It probably rose because of the Grammy performance. At first, I was repelled by the name, I thought,"Lady Antebellum? What a heck of a name is that? Are they trying to cheat Gag-a off?" Then I start to like 'em due to the Grammys.

American Idol: Hollywood

Today, it was the first Hollywood round of this season. There were amazing singers, especially my favorite of this season, Andrew Garcia. It's very rare for me to have a male favorite, you know. Come to think of it, have I ever had a male favorite before? lol. Anyway, his jazzy voice for great when he was singing the Paula Abdul song. Even Kara said that he was very creative with the song just like Adam was.

I haven't got to be able to memorize all the names, I only remembered the characteristics of the singers for now, except... Skiiboski. Yea, he was as weird and stupid as he was on the auditions. Sheesh, good thing he got kicked out. I liked the black country-pop singer, then Didi something, i guess. And why the hell did the cancer survivor guy got kicked out? I think he was great. Even as I recall, Simon loved him on the auditions.

You know, the auditions and Hollywood week don't get improvised, and the show starts to bore. The proof of that statement, is, that the ratings keep sliding down. I mean, all the show are talented singers, bad singers, crying people, yatta yatta yatta.... Whaddaya think?

Yesterday, it was on. Group night was on. The dramas. The talents. The back-stabs. Simon. They were all there. It was an exciting night, with the classic tears of unaccepted contestants flow over the television across the world. Poor craps. :p

Everyone's eyes would be directed to the Bad Romance groups called the Destiny's Wilde and Neopolitans. They're such ever copycatter. Sheesh. Then there was Andrew Garcia. He keeps growing my likeness to him... err, his.. voice. Well, anyway, It was a great episode and here's a video of The Neopolitans and Destiny's Wilde.

Although he's only 15 (he's older and he looks a lot younger than me), he's very talented and has released 2 top 20 singles from the EP album My World on Billboard Hot 100, which are One Time and One Less Lonely Girl. Wow, and from what I had read, he also taught himself how to play piano, guitar and drums. That's pretty incredible, I only can play piano myself.

When I saw his single's photo on Billboard, I thought that he was as old as Zac Efron and friends. But when I heard his singing on TV, I discovered his voice hasn't changed yet. Hmm... Then Wikipedia told me that he's 15! I thought,"American guys' growth are slower than Asians, huh? My voice has changed since.... 2 years ago!" Yea. I like his voice, though he hasn't hooked my ear off like Kelly had. He's very popular among girls and I predict that he has the potential to beat Ke$ha off the peak. Lol. Give him a couple of years for his voice to mature and he'll be very strong on the music business.

Hope For Haiti Now

It's the first time of the album discussion on my blog. This time, the Haitian Earthquake-fund raising album Hope For Haiti Now is on the table. I like the songs in it so much, although there are some old songs included... What do you think? Is it an awesome album or what?

It had peaked at the top of the Billboard 200 charts and this album has currently released 1 single, which was Stranded (Haiti Mon Amor) by Jay-Z, Rihanna, The Edge and Bono from U2 and it peaked at number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song's pretty nice, although I have heard a lot of better songs in the past.

We're back to Billboard Hot 100 people, and we're also back to Ke$ha. Gosh, it's like she's glued to that number 1 spot. She's trying to compete with The Black Eyed Peas, but I hope she's not gonna, coz' she's a pure freshman on the music industry and the song doesn't have the meaning of being a good song. It's the catchy tunes that pushed her to the top (this is just my opinion, sorry for the fans out there).

As always, Lady Gaga's tailing her at the number 2. And what gasped me, was, Taylor Swift, A.K.A. 4 Grammies Missy. :p I really thought she would beat Ke$ha and make her first number 1 hit, despite her poor Grammy performance. She slided down to the 22nd spot! Or probably the sliding was caused by her performance? Hmm.....

The Black Eyed Peas' Imma Be's on the 4th place. Billboard keeps messing with me these days, I really didn't see Imma Be on the Top 10, it was not as cool as Meet Me Halfway (again, my opinion). But people love The Black Eyed Peas, and this song marks their 4th Top 10 singles out of 4 singles from album The E.N.D.

The songs following them on the Top 10 are BedRock; Sexy Chick; How Low; Replay; Need You Now; Hey, Soul Sister and Hard. The debuts this week are Sheryl Crow's Lean On Me, Taylor's Breathless, etc. And still no Friday I'll Be Over U. Hope the next single will be better. 52nd Grammy Awards

Sorry for the lateness of my Grammy post! Haha, it's one of the negative side of living on the other side of the Earth of the great shows that are happening. Actually Star World aired the live show of Grammy, but I had to pass due to the crappy school time :p I watched it at the night (approximately 12 hours after the live one aired) and I was sooooooooooo sleepy to write (Sigh). Then this is the only time I have to write. I'm so busy for a 14 year old.

Back to business, i think it was incredible, especially some of the performances, like Pink's Glitter in The Air! She was my favorite of the night. And Lady Gaga was nice too! (Elton John finally got infected by her crazy-fashion-virus). I was disappointed with Beyonce's and Taylor Swift's performances though. B brought such old and dusty song to the stage, I was bored with the song, I thought she would bring something's fresh and WOW. Taylor Swift, well, everyone was disappointed with her last night (sorry). I felt something's screeched and popped, not in the good way. It's not like I hate her, I really do like her voice, but yesterday was really not it.

This week, Ke$ha's still on the top. She's non-stop, seriously. I wonder who's gonna be the one that will break her down? At first I thought it would be Lady Gaga. She has just dropped 1 notch and beaten by Taylor Swift, people! Taylor's on a quest on beating that party girl with her Today Was a Fairytale that debuted at number 2 this week~ The fellow Top 10 singles that's following 'em are Baby by Justin Bieber (This one's also a shocker), Replay by Iyaz, Hard by Rihanna and more.

I've also spotted something on the Top 20, and that is the Haiti single called Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour) from the Hope For Haiti Now album by Jay-Z, Bono, Rihanna and The Edge. The album debuted at number 1 this week, and there are so many great songs by various artists, including Beyonce and Alicia Keys.

Speaking about Haiti, Simon Cowell also produced a Haiti song by various amount of artists for charity too! Some of the singers featured there are Mariah Carey, Cheryl Cole, Leona Lewis and Miley Cirus. I'll post something when I know more about the song.

I have been struggling on searching for free music sheet downloads..... and I still am. Free music sheets are extremely rare these days, sigh. But I have just discovered this great website, Scribd. It's not entirely focusing on music sheets, though, but I discovered a lot more sheet music websites from searching there than just searching on Google. Since I'm very kind (LOL) i'm giving away some links of the websites. They don't have the complete lists of music sheets, but they're pretty satisfying for me.

I was looking at Billboard just a minute ago, and i scroll over my blog, and I realized that I forgot to write about this last week, lol. So I'm gonna write as double as great as I usually do. ;)

This week, Ke$ha still rules the charts with her drunkin' music. I'm not really feelin' this song, though, but I've gotta admit the tunes are very catchy. Lady Gaga's still on the runner-up position too, it seems like she's struggling to take over the champ's position. They're fellow top-10 guys this week include Owl City, Jay-Z, Rihanna and David Guetta.

The debuts this week include Miley Cyrus' When I Look at You, Keith Urban's 'Till Summer Comes Around, Lady Antebellum's Ready To Love Again, and more. Allison's Friday I'll Be Over U hasn't chart yet, I'm getting a lil' despaired now, I've gotta find out why...

Some of my friend readers feel like I'm gettin' too TV Show-ish and it's kind of farfetched with the theme of this blog, which is music. I think,"Oh well, as long as it's about music, I'm all into it. I'm gonna get my blog more musical later," and then I write this blog. I got inspired to write this because of the Asian season premiere on Star World. It was pretty hilarious and I would give it 8 out of 10 for the first impression. It won a / some Golden Globe(s) (I dunno I didn't keep on track with the show, I switched a lot to The Biggest Loser when I got bored of stars blabbing on the stage).

The pilot of the show tells about a high school life with the Spanish teacher Will Schuester played by Matthew Morrison that takes over the school's Glee Club. He got a very few members until finally he forcefully 'converted' Finn to join the Club by marijuana attack, pretty harsh. The story line was great, the show was clear and funny. There was a lot of great voices too. I'm looking forward of more episodes of this series ;)

Kelly's Concert in Indonesia

I am ecstatic, stunned, and everything else when I read Wikipedia, that Kelly Clarkson's going to sing her heart out in Indonesia this April 29th at Tennis Indoor Stadium, Jakarta! She's my favorite singer of all time and nothing can stop me to see her. Lmao. From the previous concert's track list I got from Wikipedia, she's gonna sing All I Ever Wanted, Miss Independent, Because of you, and more.

The only problem I have is with whom I'm going to go with. Not a lot of my friend are fans of Kelly, and if they do, they're not close to me. My sister said that she would love to accompany me, but.... singing like crazy right next to your family? I don't think so.

So all of you Indonesian Kelly fans! Buckle up, 'coz she's coming! And all you criminals, please behave, at least until I got home safely from the concert, I don't want the Rihanna incident happens again later. My sister told me to memorize her songs first before going to the concert, but, hey, I already have. :p See ya'll there

American Idol : Auditions

First of all, I wanna let you all know that the school season is back so I don't think I would be posting as diligently as I used to :'( It's mainly because school is tiring and will always be. I get home at the afternoon and sleep out of tiredness sometimes.

Well, back to the topic, as the school season starts, the new season of American Idol comes along. Yay! I am so excited 'bout this. It premiered 3.5 hours ago at Asia on Star World and started with audition episodes as usual. Paula's gone... :'( the show's not gonna be any same without her. I will miss her weird and non-understandable words she says. Haha. In fact, I already do now.

In the first's episode, the auditions occurred at Foxborough, Massachusetts and she was replaced by Victoria Beckham, and I personally thought that she was incredibly thin. I dunno why... Today's episode was also filled with untalented singers (no offense) and lots of brilliant singers. I loved the bitchy one that pissed Kara off. Hahah.

In the following episode, Mary J. Blige turned out to be the guest judge and the auditions occurred at Atlanta, Georgia. Some amazing singers showed up. My personal favorite is the cranky weirdo that wouldn't listen to what any judges wanted to tell him. It ends with him saying lots of censored stuff. Yeah. Too bad Simon missed it. lol. That's it for the American Idol review, I'll post some more in the future ;)

Update: January 20 2010

This week, American Idol still succeeded on giving me huge fun and laughter. The special guest was the Canadian country pop singer Shania Twain. But the golden tickets that were given away was was not many, in fact they only gave away 13, which is half the Massachusetts auditions. There were tons of hilarious acts there and my personal favorite was the boob-boxing girl. Here's the picture of the judges listening to a contestant's singing.

The next day, the audition was at Orlando, Florida. The fourth seat was filled with Kristin Chenoweth, and as usual, it was packed with both great and stinkin' singers. My favorite of the day is the crazy lawn-mower guy that didn't wanna leave... The securities had to cuff him up. Lol.

You know, I feel very old these days. Why? Because I forget things. A lot. Like for instance, I totally forgot to post the Los Angeles & Dallas auditions last week. I was like,"Seriously? I forgot? Or did I deleted it by mistake?". So, to fill the blanks of the auditions post, here's a quick review of last week's auditions.

Last week, it was pretty special because we got 4 guest judges in 2 episodes. In the Los Angeles auditions, we got Avril Lavigne and Katy Perry and brought 22 singers to Hollywood. In the Dallas auditions, we got Neil Patrick Harris and Joe Jonas, with the result of 31 singers fly to Hollywood. I want to write which was my favorite, but i forgot already :p (see? it happens again)

Before we start, and before I forget, Avril released her new song called "Alice". I couldn't find the official music video, so here's the un-official one A.K.A the fake one, I'll post the real one later.

Back to the American Idol business, this week on Denver, Victoria Beckham is back! They successfully flew 26 singers to Hollywood. It was hilarious, as always. My favorite of the day (and everyone else's I believe) was the crappy Bikini Boy! Lol, I was freakin' laughing my heart out when the judges just fleed right after he opened his mouth. Guess Katrina remains the best bikini-wearing-singer on American Idol.

Hey all! We had finally met the end of this season's auditions! Today, it was the best of the best. First after I read the title, I thought it would be awesome singers all over the hour. But there were some craps too! :p I really can't decide which was the best, but what do you think? Which one was the best?

I don't know what to write anymore about this episode now, so I'm just gonna blab about the whole entire audition episodes now. :p My favorite good singer of this year is Andrew Garcia. I just loved his jazzy voice. I'm looking forward of seeing him in the Top 24 (Trust me, I know who are in, I'll share it later)! Wondering whih one is he? I've attached a picture of him at the bottom~

And which one was my favorite bad singers? Yeah you've guessed it and you're right, he was Larry Platt A.K.A. Mr. Pants on The Ground! Lol, seriously, the song's a hit.

This week, Ke$ha still dominates the whole chart with her catchy-tuned debut single TiK ToK. Nothing stops this Animal huh? :p While Ke$ha is rolling on money on the top spot, Lady Gaga and Iyaz switch places between number 2 and 3 this week with their singles Bad Romance and Replay.

After they gave up their runner-up position last week and took the 5th place, Jay-Z and Alicia Keys climb 1 ladder to the 4th spot this week. And the rest of the top 10 include Fireflies, DJ David Guetta's Sexy Chick (even though he doesn't sing at all... i hate that guy, I dunno why :p ), Down, I Gotta Feeling, and more.

I'm a little bit upset because my 2nd American Idol finalist Allison Iraheta's single Friday I'll Be Over U does not chart. Why? I'm still trying to figure things out.

American Idol

Well, I haven't been posting since the New Year's Eve, apparently an Internet gamesite "Viwawa" hooked my attention. I currently addicted of playing Big 2 cards. Heehee.

Anyway, American Idol's back this year (yay)! For you who don't know yet, Paula Abdul won't be sitting and judging anymore this season. There were rumors that Simon Cowell's not gonna be back too, but as I know, he's gonna be back. I love his cruelty and his big teasing words. :p Kara DioGuardi and Randy Jackson are gonna be back too!

Some reports said that Paula decided to leave American Idol because she felt under respected and underpaid. (poor thing..) FOX actually asked her for the raise, but it was far beyond how many she wanted.

With Paula's absence, she has been replaced by stars like Joe Jonas and Katy Perry during the auditions, and she's going to be replaced by American comedian Ellen DeGeneres. The show's gonna be very fun with her around. I can't wait to see her and Simon.

The show is premiering in January 12 for USA and January 13 for Asia. I don't know about the other regions since I... don't really care. lol :p I hope great singer's gonna be discovered, just like Allison Iraheta and Megan Joy (my favorites from last year) and I want Nick Mitchell, or some of you may remember him as Norman Gentle to be back! I love him! Hahahah.

As a music maniac, I check out Billboard a lot, especially if some artists i like are in it, lol. I'm kinda confused that a lot of newcomers hitting the charts, it seems like the pros are bashed with the fresh, energetic newbies. Newcomers like Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, Jason Derulo are smashing the pros like Whitney Houston on Billboard Hot 100. (So sad :p)

This week, Ke$ha overruled Billboard with her 1st ever single TiK ToK from her 1st ever album Animal, which will be released in 2010. Well, well, her single is acting as an hors-d'œuvre for the new decade's songs war. At first, it debuted at number 79, then it takes a slow ride to the peak of the board. I'm kinda surprised, really.

This week, another newcomer, Iyaz climbs up the charts with the debut single Replay and takes the 2nd spot. What a great start.

Jay-Z and Alicia Keys give away the runner-up position and take the 5th with their single Empire State of Mind, marking Jay-Z's first Billboard Hot 100 number 1 hit. To be honest I don't feel anything special 'bout this song.

Lady Gaga's Bad Romance stays in the 3rd place, followed by, Owl City's Fireflies, Jason Derulo's Watcha Say, etc. Kelly Clarkson's Already Gone is currently holding the 28th spot, lol.

Some new songs also debuted, for example the American band Selena Gomez and The Scene's Naturally, Eminem's Music Box, Pink's re-entry with Funhouse, and many more.

Music these days are starting to get more electronic, and I'm not really a big fan of it (doesn't mean I'm not).. I personally like pretty much everything but Dangdut (Indonesian music). No offense for you Dangdut Lovers! (It's not really my fault I hate it though) I like Pop, r&b, jazz, hip hop, rap, and some part of rock... :p

For the artists, i like Allison Iraheta, Colbie Caillat, Jason Mraz, Lady Gaga (although I'm kinda repelled of a 'thing' she has.. I'll tell you guys later), Mariah Carey, Michael Buble, Norah Jones, Paramore, Pink, Taylor Swift, and Kelly Clarkson (saved the best for the last, lol). These are the artists I think I will focus on writing this blog.

Hi all, this is my first time blogging and to be honest I had a rough time thinking about the title of my 1st ever blog. I had thought about it for hours and I came up with 'Now Playing...' (-> kind of sad).... :p
